Ashish Mittal didn’t set out to build a company. He set out to fix something that bothered him.

As a young engineer trained in Electronics and Communication at the University of Delhi, he watched impersonation, leaked papers, and weak monitoring quietly chip away at something India doesn’t talk about enough: the trust millions of students and citizens place in the systems that decide their futures. That discomfort became the starting point for everything he’s built since.

He didn’t come from money or a head start. He comes from an ordinary middle-class family and built everything from zero, through consistent hard work and a stubborn belief that it would eventually add up to something. Early on, the hardest part wasn’t the work itself; it was earning trust before he’d earned a reputation. People judged him by his size before they judged him by his capability. It took time. But once that trust was in place, it was what turned early relationships into lasting ones.

Today, as a Promoter and Whole-time Director on the Board of Innovatiview India Limited, a role he's held since the Company's incorporation in 2017, Ashish leads work that has grown, alongside the leadership team he's part of, into one of India's most trusted platforms safeguarding examinations, elections, and other high-stakes public processes through advanced AI/ML-driven solutions. But ask him what the work is really about, and he won’t talk about market share or infrastructure. He’ll talk about fairness, about a student who sat for an exam trusting it would be conducted honestly, or a voter who trusted their voice would be counted correctly.

What gets him up in the morning isn’t ambition; it’s responsibility. Crores of students across India are working toward a future that depends on being judged fairly, on merit alone. He’s careful to point out that when a system fails, it’s never the wrong candidate who pays for it; it’s always the right one.

He measures success the same way. Not by scale, and not by money, but by whether something has changed a life in a way that matters. Money, in his own words, is simply a byproduct of getting that right.

Outside of work, he keeps it simple: time with family is what keeps him grounded. And despite everything Innovatiview has grown into, he says the one thing that hasn’t changed is how he shows up to the work itself, with the same hands-on involvement today as the day the company started.

It’s the same conviction he carried onto a stage at the British Parliament in London, when he received the Bharat Gaurav Award, and immediately turned the moment outward, crediting his team, his mentors, and his family rather than treating it as something he’d earned alone.
